We Are Hiring: Sonographer

GIHO Ultrasound & Imaging Clinic is seeking to hire a qualified Sonographer responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and producing high-quality diagnostic images for patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Perform all requested ultrasound examinations and capture quality images.
• Prepare ultrasound reports according to established procedures.
• Coordinate schedules with colleagues to ensure workload coverage.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare staff.
• Assist in special procedures including biopsies and ascitic tapping.
• Address patient care concerns professionally.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies.
• Report equipment faults promptly.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and professional ethics are upheld.
• Participate in the review and development of clinical protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Radiology & Sonography or equivalent qualification recognized by the Radiation Protection Board.
• Registered with the Radiation Protection Board.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working under a qualified Radiologist.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with imaging systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
